Professional Society Appointments
Dr. Boyce served in the past as Chair, Division L (Nosocomial Infections), American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and was former President of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA).
He was Director of the Hand Hygiene Resources Center website from 2002 – 2012, and Director of Clean Hospitals website, and has given multiple webinars and teleconferences.
Publications and Invited Lectures
Dr. Boyce has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles and 28 book chapters. He has given invited lectures dealing with infectious diseases and infection control at multiple scientific conferences in 15 countries.
He has provided consultation services to multiple manufacturers of hand hygiene products, electronic hand hygiene monitoring systems, disinfectants for use on environmental surfaces, and automated devices for no-touch room decontamination.
